Jude Bellingham is planning to return for the Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid in late September.

Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham has been ruled out for around a month after inflaming his plantar fasciitis in training this week, with the 21-year-old targeting a return to action for the trip to Atletico Madrid in La Liga at the end of September.

Bellingham’s injury means the England midfielder will miss at least seven games – six in La Liga against Real Valladolid, Las Palmas, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Espanyol and Alaves – as well as the opening game of the Champions League group stage.

Bellingham is reportedly targeting a return to action in the Madrid derby at the Civitas Metropolitano against Atletico Madrid on September 28 or 29, UFABET or at home to Villarreal on October 5 or 6 at the latest.

Bellingham’s injury will open up more opportunities for Luka Modric, Daniel Ceballos, Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz until the England midfielder recovers. With Eduardo Camavinga also out for five to six weeks with a knee injury.

This is a particularly significant loss for the team, given the importance of starting the Champions League season strongly.

Real Madrid fans and coaching staff alike will be hoping for a swift recovery. With the derby against Atletico Madrid marking his targeted return.

Bellingham’s presence will be crucial as the team navigates through a challenging period in both domestic and European competitions.
