The Forest King has signed ‘Aina’ to extend his contract until 2028.

Nottingham Forest full-back Ola Aina has agreed a new three-year contract with the club. The Nigeria international was a key player last season as the Owls returned to European football.

A statement read: “Nottingham Forest are delighted to confirm. That Ola Aina has signed a new contract, extending his stay until the summer of 2028. “

The Nigerian has played a key role in the 2024-25 campaign, starting 35 of the club’s 38 Premier League games.

Last month, manager Nuno Espirito Santo was rewarded for returning Forest to Europe for the first time since 1995-96 with a new three-year contract.

Aina moved to the City Ground from Torino in the summer of 2023. And has gone on to make 59 appearances in all competitions.
